Dr. Shams is an experienced manager and nutrition expert, boasting over 20 years of experience in leading and implementing health and nutrition interventions and programs across Afghanistan. Trained as a medical doctor, he also holds a post-graduate diploma in public health nutrition. Before joining AINHE, Dr. Shams contributed significantly to maternal and child nutrition programs collaborating with prominent organizations including WFP, FHI360, the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, and various local NGOs.
